quick question from me bein dumb as usual . i grew some budgie grss last year then threw it away lol cus was worried anything like bugs or germs were in the soil n didnt want them sick , now YEA i am agardener n kno i HAD to use soil but by the look of your tray in the vid you just left the soil etc in so presume this is ok for me to do if i grow em some more xx

what about nuts? are they safe for birds? if so what types? and should we add this to the list?

 Den I grew it in small dishes and left the compost in.

I don't know about nuts Anonomas, hopefully someone can point us in the right direction on that.

can you pull it out the earth and rinse all the soil off? Ive heard that the soil can be beneficial for budgies to ingest, yet ive also heard it can have harmful fungi growing in it so im never sure :S
Im not sure about nuts either, i will have to look that one up
