Hi, 3 weeks ago I posted that my budgie was sick with his legs, and we thought that he had bumblefoot or mites, I took him to the vet but it was nothing of this sort, he said he might have his legs a bit tired.....after that he was ok for whole three weeks, now yesterday he started having difficulties in moving around, and this morning he got worse......he wants to sleep on his perch all the time and I noticed that he didn't eat since last night...I am very worried about this, I called the vet and he told me to give him pain killers again...I am afriad that this could be the start of a paralized legs

I was wondering how you got on after the forum going down just before you were due to take him to the vet. sorry to hear he's not so good again  I hope the pain killers work, are they something that you put in his water?

It might be a good idea to re-post this again in "budgie worries"  (scroll down on the main page and you'll find it ) because it might get locked in this section.

The pain killers are to be given directly in the mouth - one drop.

hi hun hope your lil one getting better its such a heartbreak watchin them sick ,i was n tears all last week with charli n now hes hopping round like a maniac , love n hugs x

I am worried sick, I just gave him the pain killer, and now he went back to sleep, but I am worried since he is not eating and drinking....is this normal when they are sick?  I am afraid that he is dying
